Jerald (Christopher’s husband) loved Dallas as much if not more. He was a doting surrogate father and spent a lot of time with the little tyke as he grew up.
When the others were out or busy, it was up to Danielle to care for her little brother. Although she was confused by the whole situation, she tried to make the best of it. She just wished that her mother would take a more active role in raising her own kids.
At times, Danielle instinctively knew there was something ‘off’ with this kid. It was times like these she wished her mother was home so she could just hand her her own kid to take care of and let Danielle have her life back.
Eventually it was Dallas’ birthday and he would be old enough to go to school. The family threw a small party for him in the backyard and who’s that? Yes it is Willie! He was able to make it out of the house for an occasional visit to Danielle when he and his wife were having “issues”. Danielle felt bad for her friend but was happy for the company.
Wow, what a stinker of a kid! He’s certainly a handful. Dallas grew up to a pretty good looking child with amazing blue eyes.
Christopher did a lot to try to bond with Dallas, including playing his favorite video games.
Adrian was still keeping an eye on things even as the family continued to grow. Maura had passed away a few days before Dallas grew to a child and she had shared a lot about him with Adrian. One night, Adrian and Maura found Dallas playing gnubb outside in the dark and thought they’d say hi.
Maura was worried about the little boy after she passed and wanted him to do well.
Danielle got a job at City Hall helping to organize the mayor’s campaign. She loved the political world and wanted to help make real changes in the community to better the lives of all citizens, Sims and vampires both. When she wasn’t working, she was home playing with Dallas.
Dallas was a mischievious child and the family was ready for him to grow up, hoping it would help even out his temper and his moods. They got together and threw him a party. They invited some of his friends, but he had made so many enemies that no one from school came.
As a teen, Dallas was moody and irritable. Danielle had secretly shared his parentage with him and he took advantage of that at every chance he could. He played Christopher and Jerald against each other whenever it would benefit him. Christopher was a strict disciplinerian but Jerald wanted to spoil him as much as he could.
Dallas felt that rules were meant to be broken and he broke a lot of rules as a teen. He was caught out after curfew a few times, pulling pranks on the city or just hanging around places he shouldn’t be.
Will these years of angst, rebellion and rage do any good for him? Time will only tell (or flipping to the next chapter!)

What's that? Willie's having trouble in his marriage? Could that mean there might be a chance for them to be together after all? :O
ReplyDeleteThanks for all of the comments & feedback, Mischief! I'm really trying to get the blog up to date with the game. The Pictures blog are actually the current generation (the kids are Maura's great great grandchildren!) I hope to have at least 1-2 more chapters up by tomorrow (I missed playing &had to get my fix, LOL.)
