It began one evening, when Danielle had come home to find both of her parents in the living room. Chelsea and Josef had been secretly meeting each other, but Josef had still been a distant family member. Danielle knew they were up to something, but what?
Can this really be true? Shouldn’t Chelsea have said something to Danielle about this before? Josef could have come over more often, it would have made more sense than just throwing this at Danielle out of the blue.
Getting together now? Didn’t they miss their opportunity years ago?
Chelsea never saw Josef as a vindictive person. To her, he was a confused and tortured soul who was trying to find himself, and that was her excuse for staying so in love with him. Danielle did have a point though, the decision was a little selfish considering little Dallas’ needs at the time.
Chelsea decided she’d had enough of Danielle’s hurtful words and took a more direct approach…
Danielle was more than hurt. Never had she been scolded or reprimanded in her entire life. She was an extremely good kid and had always done well. Professionally, she was doing extremely well at city hall to bridge any division between normal Sims and vampires, something she had always wanted to improve. Calling her a judgemental person was possibly more hurtful than the strike on her cheek.
Josef finally stepped in to the conversation. He didn’t like seeing the two women he cared for fight like this and thought things were really getting out of hand fast. Maybe he could help Danielle to understand the decision…
Danielle wanted nothing to do with her father right now. He had good intentions, sure, but the timing was really bad. Growing up confused about her father and the vampirism he passed on to her, she had a few choice words swirling in her mind for him, hoping to never have to say them. But her emotions simply got the best of her…
Ouch, that stung Josef a bit. He did love Chelsea, but he was never really sure if he was IN love with her. But Danielle wasn’t finished with him, she had to let this out…
I think she managed to shove that dagger a little deeper with that. Josef really did feel bad for being such a distant father to her. He was a scared kid (if you can really call him a kid, anymore) and wasn’t ready for a child at the time. He knew he made bad decisions and he regretted them deeply. He was extremely proud of Danielle, but he never showed it. He still hoped he could help her understand if she would just calm down…
Danielle was not in the mood. She felt tremendously better saying what she said, even if it was hurtful, she had to say it. Josef would have to find another way to talk to her, maybe at another time…
Chelsea furious. Daughter or not, NO ONE was going to speak to the man she loved with such disrespect. The gloves were off….
Oh my!!! Isn’t this being a little drastic for the conversation?
She may have been caught by surprise but Danielle wasn’t going to be beat up physically, too.
Chelsea may have started it, but Danielle finished it. They had made their points and understood each other pretty well by now. Danielle was done putting up with her childish, immature and just mean mother. If she wanted to move out, fine.
Later that night after many tears and tissues, Danielle invited Willie over. He was still married but the marriage was very rocky and he was more than happy to come over for his friend in need, even if that meant possibly making his own marriage worse.
Life has changed in the house BIG time! With her mother out of the picture, what will Danielle’s life be like? Keep reading to find out!
