Timmothy paid attention to his fiancee as he had watched her make arrangements for the flowers, the caterer and the music. He saw how she was working and worried she had made it into an event that would have her feeling more stressed for the day than excited and happy. Elizabeth, however, was fine now. As she approached her hubby-to-be, all the worries from the preparation vanished. Her day had come!
The couple had a short honeymoon and within minutes it seemed Elizabeth was pregnant. Timmothy kept his job to keep some money coming in that was theirs and not Danielle’s and it gave him some pride to know he was helping to provide for his family. Elizabeth’s pregnancy went very smoothly, not a single wave of nausea hit her. Then it happened, one night after dinner, like a force of nature it was time for the baby to be born. Timmothy was in the shower when he heard Elizabeth yell for him.
He rushed her to the hospital and just in time, too. Little Faith was born just minutes after they arrived. Elizabeth and Timmothy adored her and were excited to bring her home to introduce her to Danielle.
Elizabeth LOVED being a mom and catered to Faith’s every whim and need. Faith slept in her parent’s room the first couple of weeks while Timmothy and Danielle worked to redesign on the of the spare rooms into a room for their baby.
As baby Faith grew, Timmothy celebrated his birthday to Elder. At Danielle’s insistence, he retired to spend more time with his young family. It was really for the better, though: Timmothy’s back was giving him some trouble and Danielle kept reminding him that she would gladly handle the financial responsibilities of the home. She often thought of her short marriage to Willie and how similar Elizabeth and Timmothy were. Danielle really felt the most important thing in life was family, everything else just didn’t matter as much. Since Timmothy was so much older than Elizabeth, she wanted him to have as much time with their children.
By Christmastime, everyone had settled into their new roles rather comfortably and they were able to celebrate a wonderful holiday together.
The atmosphere in the house felt so different now. Danielle had never known such joy and happiness under this roof – it electrified her spirit in so many ways. She had always wanted children of her own, but viewed her vampirism like an affliction or disease (due to her own life experiences) yet having Elizabeth’s family close to her gave her almost the same fulfillment. She and Faith became best friends in no time.
Things were going so well that Timmothy and Elizabeth thought they would try a second pregnancy and maybe give little Faith a baby brother, though it truly didn’t matter that much to them as long as they were all happy. Even if no pregnancy resulted, they promised each other they would have fun trying.
I think Timmothy just needed to breathe on Elizabeth to make her pregnant – the next morning she was back in her maternity clothes! But a pregnancy wasn’t going to stop her from doing all she could to be a good mom to Faith. The park across the street had a wonderful little play area and ducks at the pond, which Faith loved to bring bread to. Plus, it wasn’t a far walk at all, which was nice on Elizabeth’s back.
The pregnancy wasn’t quite as smooth as Faith’s but the delivery seemed just as quick. To their extreme delight and surprise, they found they were blessed not with boys, but girls, and this time it was twins! Timmothy was on cloud 9. He walked around for days with this happy grin on his face. Here he is with baby Fionna.
Elizabeth was certainly surprised to have two babies plus a toddler, but she felt extremely confident that with Timmothy and Danielle’s help, caring for the girls would be no trouble at all. Here is Elizabeth holding baby Francesca.
Interestingly (or not so much since they are Sim babies) the girls looked pretty similar with the exception of their eyes. Baby Fionna (below) almost seems to have her mother’s eyes. Their dispositions are pretty distinct, though. Fionna, who inherited the family Insane trait also inherited the Genius trait, and was a very happy and quiet baby. This child hardly ever fussed!
Francesca, her twin sister, was the exact opposite. She also inherited the Insane trait but also the Grumpy trait and she was exactly that! She was fussy and moody and demanded attention a lot. Not that anyone in the house really minded and they eventually figured her out enough to know she needs a Sim with her a lot.
The house has become a busy, busy place with three little girls. How will Faith handle being a big sister to twins? Will the girls all get along? And will there be more children for the family? More to come in the next update!
