ET's Girls

Plans for the wedding made the next few days fly by for Elizabeth. When the wedding day came, she was anxious and nervous yet excited with anticipation.

Timmothy paid attention to his fiancee as he had watched her make arrangements for the flowers, the caterer and the music. He saw how she was working and worried she had made it into an event that would have her feeling more stressed for the day than excited and happy. Elizabeth, however, was fine now. As she approached her hubby-to-be, all the worries from the preparation vanished. Her day had come!

The couple had a short honeymoon and within minutes it seemed Elizabeth was pregnant. Timmothy kept his job to keep some money coming in that was theirs and not Danielle’s and it gave him some pride to know he was helping to provide for his family. Elizabeth’s pregnancy went very smoothly, not a single wave of nausea hit her. Then it happened, one night after dinner, like a force of nature it was time for the baby to be born. Timmothy was in the shower when he heard Elizabeth yell for him.

He rushed her to the hospital and just in time, too. Little Faith was born just minutes after they arrived. Elizabeth and Timmothy adored her and were excited to bring her home to introduce her to Danielle.

Elizabeth LOVED being a mom and catered to Faith’s every whim and need. Faith slept in her parent’s room the first couple of weeks while Timmothy and Danielle worked to redesign on the of the spare rooms into a room for their baby.

As baby Faith grew, Timmothy celebrated his birthday to Elder. At Danielle’s insistence, he retired to spend more time with his young family. It was really for the better, though: Timmothy’s back was giving him some trouble and Danielle kept reminding him that she would gladly handle the financial responsibilities of the home. She often thought of her short marriage to Willie and how similar Elizabeth and Timmothy were. Danielle really felt the most important thing in life was family, everything else just didn’t matter as much. Since Timmothy was so much older than Elizabeth, she wanted him to have as much time with their children.
By Christmastime, everyone had settled into their new roles rather comfortably and they were able to celebrate a wonderful holiday together.

The atmosphere in the house felt so different now. Danielle had never known such joy and happiness under this roof – it electrified her spirit in so many ways. She had always wanted children of her own, but viewed her vampirism like an affliction or disease (due to her own life experiences) yet having Elizabeth’s family close to her gave her almost the same fulfillment. She and Faith became best friends in no time.

Things were going so well that Timmothy and Elizabeth thought they would try a second pregnancy and maybe give little Faith a baby brother, though it truly didn’t matter that much to them as long as they were all happy. Even if no pregnancy resulted, they promised each other they would have fun trying.

I think Timmothy just needed to breathe on Elizabeth to make her pregnant – the next morning she was back in her maternity clothes! But a pregnancy wasn’t going to stop her from doing all she could to be a good mom to Faith. The park across the street had a wonderful little play area and ducks at the pond, which Faith loved to bring bread to. Plus, it wasn’t a far walk at all, which was nice on Elizabeth’s back.

The pregnancy wasn’t quite as smooth as Faith’s but the delivery seemed just as quick. To their extreme delight and surprise, they found they were blessed not with boys, but girls, and this time it was twins! Timmothy was on cloud 9. He walked around for days with this happy grin on his face. Here he is with baby Fionna.

Elizabeth was certainly surprised to have two babies plus a toddler, but she felt extremely confident that with Timmothy and Danielle’s help, caring for the girls would be no trouble at all. Here is Elizabeth holding baby Francesca.

Interestingly (or not so much since they are Sim babies) the girls looked pretty similar with the exception of their eyes. Baby Fionna (below) almost seems to have her mother’s eyes. Their dispositions are pretty distinct, though. Fionna, who inherited the family Insane trait also inherited the Genius trait, and was a very happy and quiet baby. This child hardly ever fussed!

Francesca, her twin sister, was the exact opposite. She also inherited the Insane trait but also the Grumpy trait and she was exactly that! She was fussy and moody and demanded attention a lot. Not that anyone in the house really minded and they eventually figured her out enough to know she needs a Sim with her a lot.

The house has become a busy, busy place with three little girls. How will Faith handle being a big sister to twins? Will the girls all get along? And will there be more children for the family? More to come in the next update!

Introducing Timmothy Totte

Elizabeth was having fun in her young adult years. She met a few friends to club with and was enchanted with the bartenders and their concoctions so much she decided she might give bartending a try. Her dad had installed a bar in the living room and kept it stocked so she figured she’d try mixing a few drinks on her own at home. It made perfect sense at the time.

There was a LOT of variety to choose from. Club soda, carbonated water, ginger ale, brandy, rum, vodka, liquors of 7 different varieties, juices of all sorts… there was so much to choose from that just finding her way around the bar seemed like a challenge in itself. She decided she’d just wing it and try whatever random bottler her hands found.

It seemed she had some learning to do, but at least she found the courage to step behind the bar to begin the experience.

As she attempted to make a decent drink worth giving someone, she got the attention of Timmothy Totte, the maintenance man hired by Danielle to handle small repairs and some cleaning in the massive home. Timmothy was quite a bit older than Elizabeth, but he never batted an eye when she passed. Staying focused on the job at hand was a difficult challenge when she was in the same room.

He would stop from time to time to chat with her about whatever she wanted. He did care for her, considering she was the young heiress to the Leday family – one of the oldest and most well known names in Sunset Valley. Such a young woman could easily fall into some bad habits and trends with a fortune like hers. Yet he found her to be almost exactly opposite of what most young 20-somethings her age were like. Sure, she was young and naïve, but she was also pretty bright and charming and had just a great personality. Not to mention she wasn’t exactly bad on the eyes.

He finally got the nerve to ask her out on a date, after watching her from a distance. Hopefully, she’d say yes and it would give him a chance to get to know him outside of being the cleaning boy…

He took her to the Little Corsican Bistro. They were running a couple’s dinner special and he thought it was a great opportunity to just relax and get to know this pretty girl a little more in a different environment. To his surprise, his plan had worked! She let her guard down to share a compliment. He felt like a little boy in school when the pretty girl smiled at him again.

He had to keep his cool, he couldn’t let on just how much that comment flattered him and made his heart swell. So he responded in the most natural, casual way any guy good (at least he hoped it sounded that way.)

He didn’t want to joke anymore but really let her know how he had felt for her. The setting was perfect and the night was still so young…

She thought he was sweet but wasn’t sure how serious he was about it. But it was a compliment and she was happy.

Maybe it was the wine or that he took such a big leap of faith in telling her his feelings, but she leaned in for a goodnight kiss. She was so exhausted… maybe it was the wine…

Timmothy was tenacious, he wasn’t going to just give up on the first date. Instead he saw it as an open door for another invitation to a free dinner. There was a new pub in town that he thought might be fun for a greasy dinner of bar food and games. He got lucky again, she said yes. Then she surprised him again with an invitation of her own…

They didn’t really make it very far to the house. It was a nice, clear night so they thought it would be nice to hang out on the front porch and watch the stars and chat. Chatting lead to something a little more serious, though…

‘YES!’ was the only thing (well, not quite the ONLY thing) running through his mind at this moment. Here he was, sitting next to the most desirable woman in town and she had her lips pressed hard against his. Her touch sent shivers through him. The taste of her lipgloss, the smell of her perfume, and her kiss! Her kiss was divine.

They dated a little more and Timmothy knew right away he was in love. She was all he could think about. He couldn’t sleep. He couldn’t work. He saw her everywhere he looked. He was going crazy not having her, he decided it was time to make the next move. He planned a small picnic of fruits and cheese and a bottle of nectar and took her to the beach to watch high tide roll in.

Not sure why she can’t just take a compliment, he meant it truthfully. Chalk it up to nerves I guess, but he wasn’t going to let her wriggle out of this until he had a chance to say what was on his mind.

Lucky again for him, she had felt the same and leapt into his arms in excited ecstasy. Good thing he’d kept his gym routine or he might have dropped her!

She decided to let him spend the night to “celebrate”…. Hopefully Danielle wouldn’t notice.

Well, she did. Not that Elizabeth could really hide her excitement of the phenomenally large rock on her finger. She was completely giddy and watched every wedding show, bought every wedding magazine and was employing a local fashion designer to make a custom gown. It wasn’t really hard to put the pieces together. Still, she was a little hurt that things were being kept from her but she could put that aside. Danielle was really more concerned about Elizabeth’s long-term happiness. Timmothy was quite a bit older than Elizabeth and having outlived her own husband, she didn’t want Elizabeth to go through the same kind of hurt. Timmothy, however, was nervous around the vampiric leader. She was powerful in many, many ways and preferred to stay under the radar then in her crosshairs for any reason.

But Danielle wasn’t letting him leave until they had their talk.

Timmothy tried his best to get away from her, but she followed right behind, talking the whole way. Eventually he stopped, a bit out of frustration and annoyance and curiosity, but he figured he knew what she was going to say. He knew he was older than Elizabeth. He knew Danielle probably just saw him as some miggle-aged guy chasing a girl almost young enough to be his own daughter, but he didn’t care. He was in love, Danielle would just have to accept it.

To his surprise, Danielle knew more than he realized and had some good news instead of a chastising remark.

This was Danielle’s way of telling him she would help to care for them and whatever family they decided they would make. While Elizabeth had inherited the house, the bills went to Danielle as well as the responsibilities and it was plenty to big for a family to live. She didn’t mind at all sharing the home and providing for Elizabeth’s family. She sincerely wanted to give Elizabeth the best life she could and didn’t see a reason for making her move out of her home just because she wanted to start a family. Timmothy could breath easy – Danielle had his back.
A wedding is on the way! How will Elizabeth and Timmothy make their new lives together? Keep reading to find out!

Everything Elizabeth

Danielle and Willie came home from a wonderful honeymoon in France to find Dallas struggling to care for his new baby girl, Elizabeth. It seemed Ella could not function as a wife and mother with Dallas’ constant mean and belittling words to her. For Ella, it seemed Dallas was only interested in her for one reason and when baby Elizabeth was born, she wasn’t able to live up to his expectations no matter how hard she tried. She felt horrible every day and decided to end it the only way she felt she could. Little Elizabeth would grow up not ever knowing her mother.

This shocking news sent pangs of remorse in Willie Danielle, who did want a family, but given their circumstances decided against it (Danielle still didn’t want to pass her ‘affliction’ to any one else and Willie didn’t think it would be fair to the child or to Danielle.) The minute they walked through the door, Dallas practically handed them his baby girl so he could focus on his wants. They didn’t mind, however, and were very happy surrogate parents to Elizabeth. Willie, especially, was partial to the little girl who he said reminded him of Danielle. Elizabeth was just happy to have a playmate.

Willie and Elizabeth were a lot like Danielle and Bryce, which Danielle reminisced of when she saw the two of them together. Her bright little face and full cheeks melted his heart and he would do anything for the little girl.

Elizabeth was the perfect toddler, Dallas never realized how easy he would have had it parenting her. While Willie and Danielle spent their days with her, he spent his time on the road with the band. His lifestyle would eventually catch up with him, though. (BTW – if you noticed the blemishes on the furniture, the family attempted to adopt a stray dog and this was the dog’s ‘handiwork’)

A couple of weeks after returning home Willie was unexpectedly taken from life. He was with Elizabeth at the time and Danielle in another room when she heard Elizabeth’s scream. She raced into the room and found him slumped over as the Reaper’s grim shadowy figure appeared at his side. Danielle was devastated. She pleaded with the Reaper, but there was nothing she could do to save him. She fell into a deep depression but managed to stay collected for Elizabeth’s sake – the baby needed someone strong in her life. For several nights after his death, Danielle would visit his grave in the family cemetery where she could be alone with her thoughts and sadness.

But it wasn’t all tears and sadness for the Leday household. As Elizabeth grew up, Dallas paid more attention to his declining health and slowed his life down, realizing his time would come soon, too. He didn’t want to miss seeing Elizabeth grow and he began to realize the actions of his mean and hurtful past did not have to be an indicator for the present and future he would have. It was important to him that Elizabeth knew at least one parent, and he didn’t want her to know the mean and angry Dad. He spent more time with her and made sure to give her anything she liked. Her mot favorite toy: the pink toy oven that she could make REAL blueberry muffins in (he favorite kind of muffin.)

Isn’t she just a cute kid? She inherited a lot of good genetics from her mother (Including the nose! – Dallas’ nose was wide like his mother’s, but Elizabeth got her mom’s, LOL.)

Time really flew by and before they realized it, Elizabeth was growing up from a sweet little girl to a teen. Dallas was nervous for it because he knew his daughter was smart and he worried more about the more difficult questions she would surely ask him. It put a lot of stress on him, but Danielle encouraged him to just be honest, knowing Elizabeth would understand in her own way.

Danielle was actually excited to see her grow up. She needed a happy occasion like a birthday to pull her out of her depression and to remember the many joys in life. She missed Willie deeply, and while she was ready to let her broken heart heal she was afraid of letting go.

Elizabeth aged up to a beautiful teen. Dallas said she looked a lot like her mother.

The party was a fun success. Through Danielle’s prodding, she got Dallas (shown in the red blazer) to open up and relax more around his daughter. Just as he had suspected, Elizabeth was eager to get to know her father more.

Dallas knew before the party that Elizabeth’s biggest wish was to have a pony. Sunset Valley had just welcomed a new equestrian center that was breeding horses for the local Sims. He had arranged for a new pony to be sent to Elizabeth on her birthday. The new pony, Cameo, was delivered the following day after the party and Elizabeth fell in love with her on first sight.

Elizabeth spent a lot of her free time caring for Cameo. She was a quiet and shy girl in school, so coming home alone never bothered her; it just meant she had more time to spend with Cameo. Dallas took care to have a nice stable built for Cameo and ordered a fresh bale of hay delivered weekly.

That evening Ella appeared to Elizabeth in the dining room. At first, she wasn’t sure who the spirit was – she couldn’t remember her when she was a toddler. Elizabeth was used to seeing ghosts in the house, though, so it wasn’t a frightening experience for her. Instead, she enjoyed having the opportunity to finally meet her mother and see what she looked like when everyone around her always said how much she resembled Ella.

Elizabeth was tenacious in her pursuit to learn more about her mom so she went looking for Dallas. She found him walking to the family cemetery in the back and caught up with him to ask a few questions.

The time had come, he could no longer hide the truth from her any longer. It was difficult to explain, but he took Danielle’s advice and opened up to his daughter about the truth of his dark side and the horribly mean things he did and said to her mother. She was shocked to hear it, because she never once saw this dark side. She couldn’t believe her dad, who was always so kind to her, could have ever been such a mean monster.

With tears streaming down both of their cheeks, Dallas finished explaining that he treated Ella horribly and it was really his fault that Elizabeth grew up without her mother. He apologized extensively to her, saying that he regretted his past and how he wished he could travel back in time to make it right again and to let Ella know how much he really does love her. He admitted he wished he were the one Elizabeth never knew and that it wasn’t fair for her that she would be left with an evil father. Elizabeth’s eyes were welled up, she couldn’t imagine not having her father in her life. After a couple of hours standing in the shivering cold, Dallas felt better knowing Elizabeth knew the truth and still accepted him and loved him. She couldn’t change the past but didn’t want her father to continue the rest of his life hurting. He needed love and forgiveness, especially now that he knew what he had done was wrong and was working towards atonement.

Over the next few days, Elizabeth processed the talk she had with her father by staying busy with Cameo and focused on her school work. Cameo had grown up which meant she could be ridden now. Elizabeth and Dallas bought some tack and she practiced her riding each afternoon. She felt a little clumsy at first, but eventually she got the hang of it. Cameo loved to stretch her legs and trot around the town, even when Elizabeth tried to keep her at a nice and easy walk.

Cameo was a silly and playful horse. When Elizabeth wasn’t around to care for her she as usually found on the front lawn with her ball. She loved watching the Sims pass by the house and would whinney at them to say ‘Hi!’, but usually startling them when they least expected it.

Danielle had decided to venture out of the house and the office and try to meet new people. She met Julianna at City Hall and initially they got along pretty well. They shared the same interests in fashion and cinema, but as she got to know her more, she began to like her less.

Soon it was time to celebrate another birthday. Dallas had just passed a few days before, so Elizabeth and Danielle thought it would be nice to just have a quiet celebration at home. They made a small party for he two of them and stayed up late watching their favorite movies sipping plasma juice and some of the nectars Danielle had brought back from France.

No special wishes were made this time, she just wanted to live a long and happy life.

Elizabeth was now a Young Adult. Danielle admitted she reminded her of both parents, but did still have a striking resemblance to Ella. She wasn’t sure what she wanted to with her life and Danielle encouraged her to take her time deciding what she wanted to do. Danielle had campaigned her way to the top at City Hall and had been the Leader of the Free World for some time, a post she wasn’t ready to retire from. With a steady income, there wasn’t really any need to rush out and start working. Danielle wanted to make sure that Elizabeth felt good about a career choice and believe in order to get there, she needed time to decide.

With an open future like this, where will life take the ladies next?
