Many years ago, a young man came to Sunset Valley with many hopes and dreams of the future. The little town only had a few residents with a few amenities to build the community. The police department was recruiting new officers and promising vast amounts of land to help bring order to the growing community. Their newest recruit was Adrian Leday, a young man from the bustling city. This is the story of his legacy.
The police department gave him a very large plot of land in exchange or his service to the little town and to help settle it. While he had a lot of land to work with, it was a constant work in progress to develop it into a real home fit for marrying and raising a family. But Adrian saved and worked hard, eventually adding walls and floors to his tiny shack.
The very beginning of the Leday house.
The Leday houses first rooms – kitchen/dining, open living room, bathroom and bedroom.
Adrian was a hardworker and he knew what he had to do to attract a wife. With the house looking more like a home, he began to chat up the waitress at the diner, Narcissa. She was a classic beauty and nothing like the models in the magazines. For Adrian, Narcissa was perfectly imperfect. The two fell deeply in love and it wasn’t long before they were wed in the small, quiet park close to the homestead.
A romantic wedding under the stars
Adrian and Narcissa’s wedding was one of the first weddings in Sunset Valley, so it was more cause for celebration. The happy couple invited friends and neighbors to celebrate their union.
Instantly, Narcissa became pregnant with their first child, Bryce. One night while preparing dinner for she and Adrian, the first pangs of labor hit her hard. Adrian was starving, but the anxiety kept him from eating – his baby was coming!
Narcissa had never felt pain so … painful, and she doubled over the counter, resting her arms on the cutting board. Between breaths she asked for Adrian to rush her to the hospital.
Adrian gathered his senses and escorted his bride to the hospital. Relieved, she was able to help welcome little Bryce in no time.
Luckily, Adrian had been saving up and was able to build a separate bedroom for baby Bryce. The house was really starting to come along!
Little Bryce was certainly the apple of his parent's eye. Adrian and Narcissa were so happy to finally have their family started and to welcome the first child of the 2nd generation. They weren't certain where the future would take them exactly, but they could feel it was going to be good.

perfectly imperfect --> loving it ^^
ReplyDeletegreat start! :)
have you considered putting the dialogue in an actual dialogue in the text, rather than in the photos? :) just a suggestion though, I don't mind if you keep it as it is :)
